COVID-19 UpdateAs the situation surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to develop, Watermark Medical’s focus on the health and safety of our staff, partners, customers and patients is our top priority. We are closely monitoring guidance from the CDC and other public health organizations and taking appropriate action to ensure we continue to provide uninterrupted technical support, as well as maintain clinical and diagnostic services for our home sleep testing clients. While most of our technical and clinical staff are working remotely, we currently maintain shipping/receiving and quality assurance services from our office to manage device maintenance and repair requirements.
A few questions regarding the coronavirus outbreak have been specifically asked about the cleaning processes of the ARES device. Our cleaning procedure (when followed as described in the ARES Product Guide) has been validated and meets agency guidelines to mitigate the transfer risk of bacteria and viruses. For our customers safety, the ARES User Guide intended to be given or reviewed with each patient, includes instructions for the patient to place the device back in the plastic bag to return to the issuing facility. Once cleaned, storing the ARES device in a new resealable plastic bag will help ensure that the ARES remains clean and ready for the next patient use. Those who clean the devices after patient use can limit their chance of exposure by proper use of gloves and frequent washing of their hands. We are monitoring guidelines from CDC and other regulatory agencies and will adjust our procedure if their recommendations change.
Watermark Medical understands the importance of pooling resources and working together to amplify our reach and bring good sleep health to the largest number of patients.
We have created a network of dedicated medical professionals, including:
They are all collaborating to provide improved treatment, and cultivate a growing base of patients.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) can have many causes, and even more treatments, ranging from dental appliances to various therapies. Our network brings expert physicians and dentists from across the country to support innovative care programs for sleep patients in an ever-evolving national healthcare environment.
Collaboration among physicians and dentists brings more effective care and better solutions to sleep disorder patients.
The ARESTM Provider Network allows physicians to tap into a new patient population through a cost-effective vehicle for patient management services. Working together with our national partners, we now have a system to help physicians and dentists develop more tailored treatment plans, share a patient base, and create a sustainable community. Benefits of joining our network include:
Access to New Patient Population: Exposes your practice to a new patient base, which will not affect your current relationships or clinical activities.
Sleep Therapy Services: Our long history of Home Sleep Test (HST) services has allowed us to build relationships with sleep apnea therapy providers. We can pair you with a therapy provider if you’re in need of treatment.
Our ARESTM Provider Network benefits individual practitioners, hospitals, and clinics alike. Joining forces across the medical community ensures that our system is one of the most important resources in the diagnosis of sleep apnea.
National payors and self-insured employers are increasingly aware of the importance of sleep health for their members and employees. Watermark Medical, working in collaboration with national partners, has created a cost-effective method for patient management services.
We can simplify the pursuit of quality sleep solutions and together, we can bring a good night’s sleep to more patients.
